On behalf of the faculty and staff of the Academy of Liberal Arts at Newton High School (ALANHS), thank you for your interest in our program! ALANHS is a program that draws highly gifted and talented students from across Newton County. ALANHS students enter into in a rigorous academic four-year program of study that includes mentoring, research, community service, and study abroad opportunities. The academic focus of ALANHS is designed to offer students a rigorous liberal arts curriculum. Additionally, the partnership between ALANHS and Oxford College ensures a high standard of excellence in curriculum, instruction and learning opportunities specifically designed to prepare students for the rigor demanded at the collegiate level.
